The X International Scientific and Technical Conference “Innovations in shipbuilding and oceanic engineering”

In the period from September 26th to 28th , 2019, the X International Scientific and Technical Conference “Innovations in shipbuilding and oceanic engineering” was held at the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding.

During the conference, the reports were presented by leading experts in the shipbuilding industry from more than 10 countries.

Victor Prikhodko, the Director of Zaliv Ship Design LLC, shared his vision of the modern approach about training young professionals in engineering.

The concept of training the junior specialists, that was developed by our company, is quite innovative for the local market and based on the internal professional courses and lecturers.

Additionally, the key element of the concept is providing students with the opportunity of in-depth studying the chosen specialization through the practice on the ongoing projects of Zaliv Ship Design LLC in combination with uninterrupted educational process at the University.

He also announced the joint acting plans with the University, including the mastering of CAD systems by future engineers based on licenses granted to the University.
